Welcome to Instabug Insights, the analytics headquarters for your app’s performance and user satisfaction. Each app you monitor has its own Insights pages plugged with data, graphs, and numbers you can use to get the full picture at a glance.
The Releases page is your Insights homepage. Its top menu gives you access to Insights for all of the Instabug products in your plan. If you’re using the full product line, you’ll get Insights for bug Reporting & Feedback, App Stability, and Customer Satisfaction.
Your releases page

Get your performance and satisfaction KPIs at a glance.
This page covers the basics at a glance. Based on which Instabug products you’re subscribed to, you’ll see up-to-date details about your app’s adoption, bugs, crashes, and surveys in the top panel. Data is sorted descendingly by app version, so you can see how you’ve improved through releases and monitor the status of all your versions. Your data will remain accessible for as long as your membership’s retention plan specifies (Basic, 3 months; Pro, 6 months; Premium, 1 year).
Version adoption

Version Adoption rate calculations use only sessions from the last 48 hours, to ensure you’re measuring current users.
How many of your current users are on the latest version of your app? This section will tell you. Adoption rates are calculated based on users within the last 48 hours, so only current users are factored into the equation. The variance from the last version is displayed just next to the adoption rate: green if positive, red if negative. The variance from the last version is displayed as a percentage next to the adoption rate.
Below your adoption rate, you’ll see the total number of sessions for the last 48 hours.
Bug reports and feedback

Your total can be broken down into bugs, improvements, and questions.
The second column is for bug reports and feedback. In large numbers, you’ll see the combined total of all bug and feedback reports. You’ll see the individual totals below for bugs, improvements, and questions.
Crash-free sessions

Crash-free sessions rate is calculated from the number of crashes relative to the total number of sessions.
The crash-free sessions column is all about your app stability. Your crash-free rate is displayed as a percentage in large numbers. Just next to it, you will find the variance from the last release. Underneath your crash-free rate, you have the number of total crashes for this version, new crashes introduced since the last version, and the total number of users affected by crashes.
Customer satisfaction

The NPS score shown on your Releases page is the average from all of your latest NPS surveys.
Finally, the last column on the page tells you how your users feel about your app. Your Net Promoter Score (NPS) is displayed in large numbers. This number is the average of all NPS ratings that you’ve collected for the current version. Below, you’ll see the total number of responses this number came from.
You can click on any heading to be taken to the full page of data for that category. Your releases page covers what you need to know at a glance, but the information inside goes far more into detail so that you can understand the impact of every variable.
Insights is currently in Beta. If your Instabug plan includes Bug Reporting, Crash Reporting, or Surveys, you can use Insights for free. Please note you’ll only receive Insights for the products you’re subscribed to.
