FIX ISSUES FASTER
Introducing Feature Request Management
Feature requests are valuable for understanding app users’ needs and desires in order to help guide product roadmaps. However, tracking feature requests manually means asking for and combing through feedback from multiple sources, aggregating the ideas somewhere else, and constantly updating the list to add new requests and keep track of multiple suggestions for the same idea.
To help automate this workflow for product managers, we built our newly launched Feature Request Management tool optimized for mobile apps.
Collect feature requests and votes inside your app
Your users can submit feature requests without ever having to leave your app, and you can add your own ideas to the list. Users can upvote items so you can understand the urgency of certain requests and the popularity of your ideas to help prioritize your product backlog.
Get valuable user feedback about feature ideas
Your users can comment on each idea to share their thoughts. Through the comments, you’ll be able to identify power users and potential testers for your beta program.
You can also add comments, which will be marked as “Admin”, to thank them for their feedback or address questions and concerns.
Set a status for each request to keep your users in the loop
Update the status of any feature request to easily let your users know if it is Planned, Started, Completed, or Maybe Later. This keeps them engaged and invested in your product.
You have full control
You can edit or delete any submitted feature request or comment. You can also make your feature request list public or keep it private.
Feature Request Management is available starting from Instabug’s Silver Plan.
Get Five-Star Reviews From NPS Surveys
We’ve made our NPS Surveys actionable to help drive positive reviews of your app on the App Store or Play Store and privately filter negative comments.
Promoters (those who respond with 9 or 10) are asked “Would you mind sharing what you liked the most about us?” with a call-to-action button redirecting them to rate the app on the App Store or Google Play Store.
For beta apps, or if the app is not available on the app stores, the user will instead be asked to submit the survey.
Passives and Detractors (those who respond with 8 or below) are asked “How can we improve?” You can also change the text of the questions to suit your needs.

Fix Issues Faster
As always, we’re constantly working to refine our bug reporting and crash reporting products. The newest features aim to give our users as much context as possible in order to help you identify the source of errors and build better quality apps.
Introducing Bug Analytics
Has the number of bugs reported decreased significantly by the end of your beta program? Which versions of your app are buggiest? Is there a certain view in your app causing the most issues? What are the most common issues you receive?
With our new analytics data, you can get an overview of the number of bug reports you receive and your unique reporters over time, as well as the distribution of your bug reports across different statuses, tags, UI views where a bug was reported, and app versions.
Bug Analytics are available starting from Instabug’s Silver Plan.
Introducing Session Profiler
This new section shows you the state of the user’s device and your app up to 60 seconds before a bug or crash report is sent.
See a visualization of the CPU load, dispatch queues, memory, storage, connectivity, battery, and orientation. Easily spot peaks and outliers to help pinpoint the cause of the issue.
Check our documentation for a complete breakdown of what data is captured and how: iOS and Android.
Session Profiler is available starting from Instabug’s Silver Plan.
Enhanced User Steps
We’ve made User Events more structured and readable, in addition to capturing more gestures to better help developers reproduce bugs and fix them faster.
For iOS, we capture the tap, long press, force touch, swipe, scroll, and pinch gestures. For Android, we capture the tap, double tap, long press, swipe, scroll, and pinch gestures.
User steps are now formatted as follows: Event in label of type class in controller.
