Introducing Network Logs and Private Views for React Native Apps
Recently, we released Version 8.2.6 of our React Native SDK, which contains two of the most frequently requested features from our users.
Instabug can automatically log all network requests performed by your React Native app. Requests details, along with their responses, are sent with each report. When network requests have timed-out or taken too long to complete, you’ll see an alert at the top of the bug report in your dashboard. Note that the maximum number of network logs sent with each report is 1,000.
For instructions on how to start logging network requests for your React Native app, please refer to our docs.
You can make any app view private, like a phone number field, so that when your users take a screenshot, the view is masked. Any view you tag as private will automatically appear in screenshots covered by a black box.
For instructions on how to mask views in user screenshots, please refer to our docs.
